We have stayed in this area ourselves and being based just outside Camelford it is ideal. You are close to the key attractions on the north Coast such as Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac but you are also very close to Bodmin Moor which has some spectacular scenery as well.
There is something very magical about this area of Cornwall, which Hanne and Jim also mention on their website. We have no hesitation is recommending Aldermoor Farm as a place for your self catering holiday in Cornwall.

Directions
Heading south on the A39, just past Camelford is a hamlet called Valley
Truckle.
Turn left into Fenteroon Road in Valley Truckle (immediately before a
BP fuel station on the left hand side).
Follow this road down the hill then take the left hand fork just after
crossing the small river. Stay on this small country lane for a distance
of approximately 1km, through a farmyard, right to the end and turn
right through the white gate. The farmhouse is just behind the cottages.
