We warmly welcome you to our family run hotel. The Queens hotel has been winning awards for over 100 years with our 1st in 1884 and our most recent in 2005 for being voted Discover Travel and tours hotel of the year. The Queens Hotel is a lovely Victorian hotel situated on the promenade in Penzance Cornwall.
Our large hotel (70 bedrooms - all en-suite) enjoys pride of place in Mounts Bay with sweeping panoramic views including St Michaels Mount, the small fishing village of Newlyn and the Lizard Peninsula. The scenery is breathtaking and we are committed to offer you elegance, comfort and great value. The hotel features many fine paintings in its public areas.

About our food
All our dishes are freshly prepared to order and we take great pride in using the freshest and most local ingredients possible.
Vegetables – supplied daily from our local farmer in St Hilary
near Marazion under 4 miles from the hotel.
Meat – supplied daily from our local butcher in Redruth
Fish – supplied daily from our local supplier in St Ives mostly
landed in Newlyn which is visible from the Promenade Restaurant.
St. Michael's Mount, the most famous landmark in Cornwall, is just a short drive away and can be walked to when the tide is low. Land's End is also very near as is the Minack Theatre, a wonderful open air theatre carved out of the hillside and cliffs overlooking Porthcurnow. The theatre regularly puts on performances of Shakespeare and well known musicals. Walk the beautiful and varied coastal footpaths and explore the ancient Celtic history with standing stone circles, quoits and bronze age villages. A short visit to the enchanting Isles of Scilly is available by boat, aeroplane or helicopter
