Bodmin Moor Click image to enlarge This was near St Breward and the plan was to seek out the many Stone Circles in this area. As I had forgot to bring my wellies this plan changed to lunch at the local pub which was superb. Stannon Stone Circle is within easy reach so mission accomplished!. Lizard Point late afternoon - Click image to Enlarge - In some ways photographing Lizard point is not easy as the vista is so wide and the lens cannot fit in the movement of a human head and eyes. However I liked the clouds and the sense of drama in this picture. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
View from Durgan - Click to enlarge Durgen is a tiny Hamlet near Trebah Gardens and we visit here a lot when running our yoga weekends at Budock Vean which is only a 15 min walk away. This shot was taken walking through the woods and down to the left of the village. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
Wonderful walk towards Prussia Cove - Click image to enlarge Looking out from Little Cudden towards Betsy's Cove. Tides in here, otherwise you can scramble down the rock. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 5/5]
Port Isaac in Winter click image to enlarge - It stopped raining for a about 60 seconds and I took this shot. It was cold, every shop was closed and the kids were very glum, headed back to the car straight after this. Phil

A cloudy Loe Bar Lake - fantastic walk - click image to enlarge - Another area that features well in our galleries. It is never busy here, it feels like you are further from civilisation than you are, take some nibbles and a drink and expect to be away for 4 /5 hours. Tell the kids there is a beach half way round (there is|) Wonderful anytime of the year. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
Coastal rocks near Morvah - Click image to enlarge - Taken near Morvah, this is a wild area full of Cornish Heritage, fantastic heathers, flowers, coastline and the sea is this fantastic turquoise colour. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
Merry Maidens Stone Circle - click image to enlarge - The most accessible Stone Circle in Cornwall? Well there is a bus top outside the field the Merry Maidens stand in.. For those of you not familiar with the Merry Maidens it is in an area of rolling countryside. The Pipers Standing Stones are near by and it is still a place of reflective contemplation. St Michaels Mount from Penzance - Click on image to enlarge -This shot has been used before in one of our Clients websites. The Gannet lifted its wings a second before the shot was taken. To me in conjures up the legends of Cornwall with St Michaels Mount appearing through the mist. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 3/5]
Cudden Point before the storm - click image to enlarge - Regular visitors to the Genius Loci website will know that Cudden Point is a favourite location of ours. Here you can imagine the rock on the right (Cudden Point) being a dragon taking a rest in the shallows. 5 mins later the heavens opened and we got very wet. Phil
