Rock Pool Cot Valley

Rock Pool Cot Valley - Inspired by the paintings of Sarah Vivian.  If you are familiar with Sarah's paintings you can see quite a few of them in the rock formations at Cot Valley especially at low tide.  Phil  [Genius Loci Location Rating 5/5]

Cot Valley near St Just Cornwall

Cot Valley near St just West Cornwall - A beautiful Spring Sunday in March.  The Sun was warm and the water very cold as it ran over my feet seconds after this shot was taken.  I love this part of the Cornish Coast.  Park in St Just (its free) and enjoy the lovely walk down into the valley.  Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 5/5]

Rinsey Beach Cornwall

Rinsey Beach Cornwall.  Near Praa Sands, bit of a scramble down the rocks to get to, but a wonderful place.  Go at low tide, but be aware of the tide coming in, very easy to get cut off.  Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 5/5]

Praa Sands Cornwall

Praa Sands Beach from Rinsey Head.  Very windy but spectacular.  Cudden Point in the distance and Prussia Cove.  Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 5/5]

Old Lifeboat ramp Newquay

The old slipway for the Newquay Lifeboat.  Newquay may appear a bit commercial but its coastline and beaches never change.  This part of the headland is near Fistral Beach.  Phil [location points 3/5]

Cornwall Beach

Perranuthnoe Beach basks in the Spring sun.  Those are horse tracks, maybe they carried on to Cudden Point.  Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]

Botallack

Engine House Botallack West Cornwall - Taken with Canon 70-200 lens, 5 mins later the mist rolled in.  This area is rich in Cornish Heritage and culture.  Phil

Polzeath Beach North Cornwall

Polzeath Beach in North Cornwall.  Famous as a surfers beach, but I do like going here at low tide as there is a real sense of space and freedom.  There is also a great place for a breakfast just out shot on the left.  Phil

[Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]

Sea Pinks near Logans Rock Cornwall

Sea Pinks Near Logan Rock Treen, West Cornwall.  Yet another walk from Treen a wonderful spot for seeing Basking Sharks and the most amazing colours in the water.  Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 5/5]

Helford Woods

Woods near Helford - Romantic and magical footpath on the way to Frenchman's Creek from Helford Village.  Phil  [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
