Another view of Cudden Point, taken beneath the cliffs, just out of sight were 10+ Basking Sharks, it was just starting to rain. This is a wonderful spot a truly wonderful walk with a great Ice Cream at the end of it at Perranuthnoe Beach Cafe. [Genius Loci Location Rating 5/5]
Cape Cornwall Low Tide - This shot is taken at the bottom of the slipway on the right hand side of Cape Cornwall. Most people once they park in the National Trust Car Park go down to Priests Cove which is on the left of the cape. This shot taken at low tide looks towards Kendijack valley and although the car park was packed I was the human being down on this side. Very peaceful. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
Helford River Lagoon - What a beautiful spot!. Park at Helford and take the the coastal path to St Anthony. There are lots of little lagoons like this one where you can site and watch the boats. On the other side of the river is the Ferryboat Inn and Trebah Gardens and Durgan. There is a nice little tea room cafe at Helford now as well. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
View towards Kenneggy Sands Beach - The beach itself is right in the distance. I took this shot from the end of Cudden Point. Usually the wind and sea are quite rough here so climbing this far of the humps not something I would normally do. However on this day the sea was like a lake and there was no breeze at all. Looking towards St Michaels Mount from Cudden Point - Taken at the base of the cliffs at high tide. There is a almost hidden foot path just before the national trust sign which lets you get right down to the sea. On a day like this with the sea very calm it is very meditative. Usually the sea is quite rough here so be careful if going down in less tranquil conditions. Phil (full gallery on Cudden coming soon)

Perranuthnoe Beach looking towards Cudden Point - Taken in the evening (7.40pm) June 2nd. The Sun was going down behind St Michaels Mount. Perranuthnoe Beach is huge when the tide is out and there are many rock pools full of fish for the kids to catch. It is also a great place to swim, especially when the tide is coming in across the warm sand. When it is high tide the beach practically disappears so try to go at low tide. There is also a nice beach cafe and art centre nearby. Phil

Newlyn later afternoon - click image to enlarge. Taken from the old Quay, slightly away from the working port, the old Quay is a collection of boats that stay on the sea bed regardless of the tide and lost engine parts. However there is a romance and desire for fish and chips that is quite tangible. Phil

Lone Boot at Nanjulian Valley - Seeing an odd shoe on the motorway is fairly common, the equivalent in Cornwall is the lone Fishermans boot. The last one we found was near Hayle (see gallery 7) Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
