Genius Loci was born following the release of Sacred Landscapes by Sue Aston back in 1999.
Since then we have evolved into a successful design and media company supporting Cornish businesses whilst still being a unique guide for visitors to Cornwall.

Artist specialising in the Isles of Scilly
After a successful illustration career in Boston and New York, I began work as a professional painter when I moved to London with my husband in 1987. In 1991, we moved Tresco, in the Isles of Scilly, where I was Artist in Residence until 2003. Since 1999, beside my gallery commitments, I have strived to place as much work as possible into health and healing environments. The spiritual aspects of light which I discovered on Tresco and now in Cornwall, remain a powerful influence in my work.
The following selection of paintings reflects my development as an artist over the years. Some were commissions while others were for exhibitions or studies. They all show my devotion to light in its many attitudes and my commitment to express this as openly and honestly as possible.
