Penlee Art Gallery

21 March - 13 June 2009 - Wild Cornwall
An exhibition looking at the flora and fauna of Cornwall through the eyes of artists, photographers, scientists and collectors. Utilising Penlee House's own collection, supplemented by loans from public and private collections, this entertaining yet educational exhibition combines beautiful imagery with fascinating fact.

Genius Loci Guide. Situated in a beautiful part of Penzance, with quiet gardens and the Tennis Club nearby. Penlee Art Gallery is a wonderful inspiring place run by people who truly care for the art and history of Cornwall. It is a wonderful place to eat relax with friends or just loose yourself in the beautiful paintings you will find there.

Open Monday to Saturday throughout the year - Closed Sundays

Summer
Good Friday to 30 September, 10.00 am - 5.00 pm - (last admissions 4.30 pm)

Winter
1 October to Maundy Thursday, 10.30 am - 4.30 pm - (last admissions 4.00 pm)

Open Bank Holidays but please note we are closed on the following dates: 24th - 28th December 2008

7 Day 'Art Pass' including Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum, the Leach Pottery, Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange: £12 adults, £7.00 concessions, (£7.00 concessions, £4.00 over 60s during Tate exhibition change-overs).

Saturdays - FREE admission to all.

Lunch is served between 12.00 and 3.00 pm., examples of some daily 'specials' are shown below:
