Welcome to this book of poems by Penny Lally, beautifully set off by Rob Lyttle's atmospheric water-colours. Between them they portray a world which may seem dreamlike to those whose lives are spent in town. But it is real enough, and not always idyllic. The country can be blissful but it can be cruel too, it can tug at your heart, but sometimes break it...
Theresa Jones (artist and therapist)
St Ives
Theresa's work is exhibited in various galleries across Hampshire, Wiltshire, and of course Cornwall. The Pedn Olva Hotel in St. Ives is filled with a solo exhibition of her work for 2004, which will continue until at least Easter 2005.
Goldsithney Cornwall
Gareth was born in the north of England and now resides in West Penwith Cornwall. Gareth is one of the most exciting, new realist painters to emerge into the art world. His paintings capture light on water in a way that is unsurpassed and the raw beauty of a single magnolia flower just as it blooms is portrayed flawlessly onto canvass. Gareth takes his inspiration from the natural beauty that is in abundance in his surroundings, the beaches, sky and gardens of Cornwall are a constant source.
