Traditional miners two bedroom cottage to rent. Situated on Cape Cornwall Street in the heart of St Just. A few minutes walk to the main market square where you will find local shops, pubs and amenities. A mile from Cape Cornwall which is an area of spectacular beauty. From here you can walk the “National Trust' coastal paths. Sandy beaches are just four miles away. Sennen with it's great surfing conditions and surf school and Porthcurno, with its famous Minack theatre built into the rocks

St Just
The village square has everything you need. A fully stocked Co-op and Spar. A few butchers, bakery, greengrocers and chemist. The village has five pubs all serving food and entertainment. Most with beer gardens or outside space. There are several coffee shops and takeaways including an Indian, a Chinese and a Fish and Chip shop. There is a library, sports centre with outdoor tennis courts and indoor swimming pool. Cape Cornwall Golf Club also has a gym, swimming pool and sauna that is open to non residents. Cape Cornwall

Cape Cornwall
Come out of the cottage and turn right and about 1 mile down the road is Cape Cornwall. A beautiful headland where the National Trust Coastal walks can take you to Sennen and then Lands End in one direction and if you take the fifteen mile coastal walk to St Ives you will past Pendeen Light House and many old Coal mines such as Geevnor. This walk is pretty steep in places.

Sennen Cove (4 miles from Cottage)

Drive out of St Just and turn right after the old petrol station, onto the B3306 sign posted Lands End. At a T junction turn right onto the A30 sign posted Lands End. Continue forward and enter the village of Sennen. Take a right turn down to the beach and there is a car park right on the beach or if this is full go back up the hill and there is additional parking.

This is a beautiful large sandy beach beach. It has a surf school with lessons and surfboard hire. Sennen Surfing Centre.

Lands End
Land's End is situated on the most westerly point of mainland Britain and is surrounded by spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. At Land's End you can have your photo taken next to the famous Land's End signpost and visit the First and Last House. There is a visitor centre, hotel, restaurants, gift shops and many attractions for children.

Porthcurno
This is one of the most beautiful coves in Britain. It is more of a sheltered cove and has safer swimming for children, if the waves are big at Sennen. When the tide goes out you can walk round to loads more coves and it leaves big rock pools for the children to play safely in. It is about 3 miles from Sennen. Follow the A30 towards Lands End and turn left onto the B3315 for Porthcurno. There is a large car park here and then about 200 yards down a footpath to the beach. You can carry on past the car park and head to the Minack Theatre which also has a large car park and take the steps down to the beach. There is a café serving refreshments.
