Looking towards St Michaels Mount - Click image to Enlarge. Taken from the coastal path near Perranuthnoe. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
A fishing Boat heads out to sea from Lelant near Hayle - Click image to enlarge. Taken just before it started to rain, it was very cold and the tide here comes in very quickly. The walk from Lelant Saltings is full of atmosphere and heritage especially if you like old boats. Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
Early morning shot of St Michaels Mount from Goldsithney Village. Click image to enlarge. Taken at 9.00am Phil [Genius Loci Location Rating 4/5]
Looking down towards Cot Valley. Click image to enlarge. Cot Valley has rocks like dinosaur eggs and is well worth a visit. It is a nice walk from St Just. Phil

An old Ford Capri rests (rusts!) in the stillness of Cornwall - Click image to enlarge. Taken near Sancreed. It almost felt meditative. in the car had decided there would never be a better spot than this and so had never moved again. Phil

Rinsey Head Cornwall - Click image to enlarge. The lighting on this shot is not perfect but the clouds offered a feeling of immanent menace as the storm started to roll in. In the background you can see Cudden Point and West Penwith. Phil

Carn Euny Fogou - Click image to enlarge. This shot was taken inside the circular chamber looking out in to the passage. Carn Euny is the most accessible Fogou in Cornwall but just as magical as the others. Phil

Padstow Harbour Click image to enlarge. An unusual shot taken on Mayday in Padstow. The town was packed and there were many luxury boats in the harbour. The wine bottle had no doubt been at the heart of the celebration but now discarded floated in its own oasis of calm. Phil

Rocks near Geevor Tin Mine - Click image to enlarge. Notice the copper deposits on the rocks. This area of Cornish Coastline is dramatic and also full of history. There is a romance with the old mine workings but the hard work and dangerous toil still creeps through into the wind and spray.

Cudden Point - Click image to enlarge. Cudden Point is one my favourite places in Cornwall. This part of the coastal path has an almost spiritual dimension and I am working on a dedicated image gallery for this area. Phil
